Meet our Stockists : Flora Bae Home
One of the greatest joys of growing Occasionally Sweet has been meeting people along the way who remind me why I started this journey in the first place.
Today, I’d love to introduce you to one of them.
Meet Natalie, the vibrant soul behind Flora Bae Home, a beautifully curated lifestyle boutique nestled in Petoskey, Michigan.
Natalie and I first met at Shoppe Object in New York—the one trade show I find myself returning to year after year. Amid the constant movement and hundreds of conversations that happen over those few days, there are certain people you meet who stay with you.
Natalie was one of them.
She walked into my booth with this incredible warmth and energy, and somehow, within moments, made me feel as though we had known each other for years. She is vibrant, full of life, and has that rare ability to make you feel immediately at ease. Our connection felt natural from the very beginning, which makes seeing Occasionally Sweet now find a home in the world she has created feel all the more special.
Flora Bae Home feels very much like an extension of Natalie herself—warm, spirited, eclectic, and full of personality. Every corner is thoughtfully layered with objects and pieces meant to be discovered, each chosen with a story and a point of view.
But what I admire most is the heart behind it all.
Natalie has made supporting women artists, female-founded brands, and small independent businesses an important part of Flora Bae Home. She has created more than a beautiful shop; she has created a space where the people behind the things we bring into our homes are seen, supported, and celebrated.
As a woman-owned small business myself, being welcomed into that community feels incredibly meaningful.
Perhaps that is what I love most about the relationships that have grown through Occasionally Sweet. Sometimes you meet someone across a booth at a trade show, share a conversation, and somehow recognize a kindred spirit.
I’m so grateful that one of those moments led me to Natalie—and that Occasionally Sweet now has a little home at Flora Bae.

If you ever find yourself in Petoskey, I hope you’ll stop in, wander through the beautiful world Natalie has created, and say hello. I have a feeling her warmth will make you feel like you’ve known her for years, too.
With love,
A
